Council also designated a large portion of the lot to sit as an open space lot which will be left untouched by construction.
WOODSTOCK - The next steps have been approved by Oxford County Council for the Karn Road subdivision.
During todays meeting, council decided to redirect land from Woodstock's Large Urban Centre Settlement area to be designated as Low, Medium, and High Density Residential lots.
Woodstock Mayor Jerry Acchione says that the decision to move construction to the front of the lots will keep traffic from congesting sounding neighborhoods.
"By moving the medium and high density closer to the road, the upside not only is it flatter, but were also having majority of the traffic closer to Karn Road."
Council also designated a large portion of the lot to sit as an open space lot which will be left untouched by construction.
