The Friendly City now has six Tim Horton's with a new 24/7 Welcome Home store opening today in the North End.
WOODSTOCK - A brand new Tim Horton's has opened their doors in the Friendly City.
The 6th Timmies in town is located in the North End at 805 Vansittart Avenue. Owner Karen Lefebvre says it is a brand new state of the art facility.
"We are going to be a 24 hour operation, and it is a full capacity sit down restaurant with a drive thru and store front."
Lefebvre The new Tim's features a new layout as it is part of the Welcome Home edition.
"Tim Horton's Head Office has designated our store a Welcome Home location. So what that means is it is very welcoming when you come in, we have the TV and we have an area with nice chairs that you can actually sit around, we have a community table, USB connections, so it looks different than most Tim Horton's you would have visited."
The grand opening of the store was today, they served there first coffee just before 6:00 a.m.
