The fence has come down around the play structure on Finkle Street.
WOODSTOCK - The City of Woodstock has a new playground ready for use.
The fences have come down around the area on Finkle Street, allowing children to enjoy a variety of play zones. There are climbing structures, slides, sensory features, ramps and independent play areas, which people of all abilities can use to have a great experience.
The City is saying that caution should be used while on the playground as the weather is getting colder and the snow could be on its way. There is a rubberized surface to make it easier for people with mobility challenges and those who use assistive devices. The rubberized surface also provides a cushion when warm, but it could become slippery once the colder weather arrives.
A grand opening for the playground is planned for next spring.
