VON didn't move far, the organization moved into the the adjacent 5000 square foot building.
WOODSTOCK - VON Oxford has a new building to house their 15 services.
The new building, which is next door to their old one gives them five thousand square feet of service space.
"Back in January, the building beside us was flooded and VON at the time, the staff, we did need more room for the programs that they run. It's not just Sakura House that's out there. We have many different services that we offer to people in need that want it and this has just been a great transition for everybody," says Community Board President John Goodbun.
"It's a space now that people can actually do things in and it's very gratifying from a Director that we see these people that are very passionate about what they do and certainly to provide an office space like this for them and facilities that can be taken out of this building, it's great."
"We now have an incredible space to operate our 15 programs and services and VON Oxford has been operating in Oxford County for the past 100 year and will continue forward. In this time we have strived to provide innovative health care programs to those living in Oxford County and this space will offer the opportunity to not only continue the amazing programs we have built but it will also allow VON to look into the future and provide essential health care programs when they are in need."
An official ribbon cutting at their new 550 Ingersoll Avenue was held Friday.
