Norwich Township announces Kyle Kruger as new CAO
Norwich Township has a new CAO in house today.
Kyle Kruger has been hired, and takes over the Chief Administrative Office that was left by Michael Graves, who is now Ingersoll's Clerk.
Kruger comes to Norwich after a long tenure as an Administrator in Bayham Township. "Really after 14-years, I saw an opportunity at Norwich to move to a slightly larger municipality. Certainly one that is seen as progressive and is growing, which is an attraction."
Kruger brings 25 total years of experience working for rural municipalities.
He says his goal is to provide a responsive and effective administration, but also wants to see the township seize new economic opportunities.
But of course, it will take time for him to get settled into his new role. He tells Heart FM about his first day so far. "Oh, I'm certainly trying to get my feet wet. There's lots to learn. I'm certainly trying to get familiar with the whole of the community, and at this point, the staff."
He fills the vacancy left by Michael Graves who landed in Ingersoll as Town Clerk.
