The Navy Vets took the Simcoe Storm 5-3 in an exhibition game at Southwood Arena Friday night. That evens their exhibition record to 1-1. Alec Durham opened the scoring in the game less than 5 minutes into the contest to give the Vets an early 1-0 lead. Two goals in the 2nd period tied the game at 3-3 on goals by Spencer Franklin & Mackenzie Langford. Christian Babb scored 10 minutes into the 3rd period on a breakaway created by some nifty skate puck work by Ryan Wells to give the Vets the lead. Babb then sealed the win with his 2nd goal of the game on the powerplay. The Vets travel to Aylmer Saturday night.
