Make sure you thank your local bus drivers today for National Transit Employee Appreciation Day.
WOODSTOCK - Don't forget to say thank you if your taking the bus today.
Today is National Transit Employee Appreciation Day. Transit Supervisor with the City of Woodstock Jeff Springsted says just like everyone else, bus drivers have had a tough year.
"Transit drivers have endured quite a bit of change in the past year and I can only commend them for that they have done."
Springsted says a simple thank you to your transit driver will go a long way today and every other day.
"One of the best ways you can recognize your transit driver is to simply give them a deep hearted thank you."
So if you are taking public transit today, make sure to give a heartfelt thank you to the person getting you to your destination safely.
