Two new witnesses Wednesday in the murder trial of John Robinson, both recalled how they found out about the murder of Clifford Fair. First was Amy Gilbert's good friend Jessica Whittington. She said Gilbert confessed to her at the Shades of Green on November 7th 2008, that Robinson had killed Fair. She also testified that Robinson left the pub shortly after Gilbert had told her this. Meantime, Robinson's ex-wife Sharon Ellery, the second witness of the day, said she recieved a phone call from him this same night. For two hours, Ellery said Robinson went into detail about the murder. She said Robinson asked her what he should do to which she responded, "call the police." At this point she said Robinson got angry and said, "I'd kill myself before I'd do that type of time." Both witnesses told similar stories regarding the confessed details of the murder. Sharon Ellery will be cross examined Thursday morning.
