Nobody was injured after a three vehicle collision involving two pickup trucks and a transport just east of Culloden Road this morning.
OXFORD COUNTY - Nobody was injured after a three vehicle collision involving two pickup trucks and a transport just east of Culloden Road this morning.
Constable Ed Sanchuk explains what happened around 9:00 am today.
"The white pickup truck was travelling in the fast lane when a vehicle cut directly in front of them, due to the fact that a transport truck broke down at the side of the highway here, just east of Culloden Road. As a result, that pickup truck had to take evasive action to avoid being in a collision and ultimately came in contact with a transport truck carrying vehicles."
Sanchuk says people have been driving down the emergency shoulder and putting first responders at risk.
"I'm watching people back up to the on ramps to the highway, don't do that, you are putting everyone at risk. I was also speaking to the officer and he told me that people were driving on the emergency shoulder to get around this collision. Do me a favour, driving is a privilege, not a right, we need to use some common sense, you are putting first responders at jeopardy, plus innocent motorists that were involved in this collision."
The road is expected to open in the next hour.
