All of the proceeds raised at the Tillsonburg Multi Centre’s annual Trail Walk and Run will benefit the Parkinson’s Society and the Multi Service Centre.
TILLSONBURG - The Tillsonburg Multi Centre’s annual Trail Walk and Run is right around the corner.
All of the funds raised this year will go towards the Parkinson's Society and the Multi Service Centre. Health and Wellness Coordinator for Stone Bridge Services Abbey Malotte tells Heart FM the event is held at the Carroll Trail.
"So we meet at
Malotte explains why they raise money for the Multi Centre every year.
"So the multi service centre is a charitable organization, so we do receive funding from the government for most of our programs, however as with most charitable organizations, there are still some costs that aren't covered by that funding. So the funds raised go towards the services that we provide toward the community."
It's all happening on Sunday May 28th. You can sign up on the day of at 9am with the event starting at 10:30am.
