Another freezing rain warning has been issued for Oxford County and the surrounding region, creating another messy commute home tonight.
OXFORD COUNTY - Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for Oxford County and the surrounding region.
Freezing rain is expected to start at some point this afternoon and will continue throughout the evening until the temperatures finally rise above 0 degrees.
Motorists are being reminded to give yourself plenty of time to reach your destination. The roads are already quite wet and slippery and additional freezing rain is going to only make it worse. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance.
Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
