We could see a little bit of snow headed into the last few days before Christmas. But don't expect it to be a pleasant snowfall, as Environment Canada is warning of a potential wintery mix in a system tracking towards our region from Colorado. In a special weather statement covering practically the entire province, forecasters say the system will begin on Thursday. They say it could start as snow, then change to wet flurries or freezing rain before changing back to rain. Then on Friday, it could change again back to snowfall, potentially with accumulation as a cold front moves in behind the storm on Saturday. During the system, Environment Canada warns drivers that road conditions could get treacherous. Keep tuned to Heart FM for further updates as the system moves through.
