Good Beginnings is hosting a series of events aimed at improving physical literacy among children, while having some fun.
The event called Mimi Mudder is an obstacle course where young children and parents are encouraged to participate in the fun together.
Good Beginnings Early Childhood educator Katie DeCooman tells Heart FM what things kids can expect at the event.
"There's tires to be carried, there's ladders to be climbed, there is stumps to jump on and they are finishing off with a car wash and sprinkler for the children to get nice and cool."
Good Beginnings is hoping to make Mini Mudder a community wide event next year, to continue to encourage physical health in young children.
