Oxford County is not expected to see any type of deep freeze for awhile.
WOODSTOCK - The mild winter continues in Oxford County.
Environment Canada says the weekend will continue to produce above seasonal temperatures for this time of year. Meterologist Gerald Cheng says they do expect some nasty weather next week.
"Once we get back to work, get back to school, we do have a big system coming our way next week, so something to watch for as people need to commute again."
Cheng did say they do expect temperatures will return to seasonal norms next week. He also says we could be in store for a cold snap towards the end of the month.
"We could have some cooler temperatures on the way, especially towards the latter half of this month and even into February."
Cheng says so far this winter has been normal, with a touch on the mild side.
