The Paris Mounties were successful in the four game sweep of Norwich.
They battled hard but fell short in Norwich Wednesday night.
The Merchants were hoping for a game four victory to avoid the sweep by Paris, but the Mounties had the edge and downed Norwich 3-2.
Paris will now move on to the Midwestern Jr C finals against either New Hamburg or Ayr.
The Firebirds and Centennials are tied at two games apiece with game five set for Thursday night in Ayr.
