NORWICH - Norwich Township Council are the latest municipality to receive an application for a licence to produce and distribute medical marijuana.
Nature's Comfort filed their application with Health Canada in December 2014 to produce and distribute medical cannabis from their property on Maple Dell Road and have now taken the next step in their process by addressing the situation with Norwich Council.
CAO/Clerk Kyle Kruger outlines the procedure for the application to be filed.
Council will explore the matter more in-depth in future meetings to make it fit under the Marijuana for Medical Purposes Regulations.
