Norwich Township resident Larry Martin files papers to become Mayor
A long time Norwich Township councillor is making a run for mayor.
Larry Martin who served on council from 1982-1997 and then again from 2006-2010 says a mayoral run was always something he wanted but it's just now that he feels he has the proper time to devote to the position.
Martin says he's not only looking forward to the position of Norwich mayor, but also the position on County Council that comes with the job as well.
"I've got several months to catch up on what the issues are there so I'm not too worried. Like I said, I'm going to have some more time anyway now that I can sit through meetings just to catch up on where they're at and where we're at as well and hopefully have a fair working knowledge of what point we're at when we move forward after the election if I'm lucky enough to be elected."
