A man in Norfolk County was struck by lightning Wednesday afternoon. OPP say they received a call around 4:40PM from a ginseng farm on Highway 3 in Windham stating a 48 year-old man from Mexico was working in the field when he was hit by the lightning strike. The police investigation determined that the man was walking back to a vehicle when he was hit. The victim had no vital signs when taken from the scene but paramedics and medical staff were able to regain a pulse when he arrived at the Tillsonburg Hospital. He has been transferred to the London University Hospital where he is in critical condition.
