The Friendly Ghost Costume shop offers free Halloween costumes for kids in Woodstock. It is happening on Saturday October 5th at the Goff Hall from 8:00 am to noon.
WOODSTOCK - Halloween is coming up and it can be stressful and expensive for parents to find that perfect costume.
Sarah Allen says that is why she started the Friendly Ghost Costume Shop.
"The Friendly Ghost Costume Shop is where parents can come and get a free Halloween costume for their kids."
Allen says they will have plenty of costumes available for every member of your family.
"We have about 200 costumes, and a whole variety of costumes from infants to adults."
She adds that the best costumes get scooped up right away, so you will want to arrive early.
"The Super Heroes and the Princesses are always the most popular, We do have a wide variety of costumes we get a little bit of everything, the warm fuzzy costumes for the toddlers and the scarier ones for the bigger kids, so we really do get a wide variety of costumes."
The Friendly Ghost costume shop has been going on for 5 years, but they have teamed up with the City of Woodstock to move from Calvary Church to Goff Hall.
They are also accepting donations for new and slightly used costumes at Jacks Jungle Gym in Downtown Woodstock.
The Friendly Ghost Costume Shop will be at Goff Hall from 8:00 am to noon on Saturday October 5th.
