When local OPP officers are not fighting crime, they can often be found connecting with the community through various events. The next week is a busy one for them.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford OPP will be hosting a couple of events coming up in the next week.
On Saturday, OPP Auxiliary officers will be doing the Cram a Cruiser food drive at the Foodland in the Town of Ingersoll. Members will be on site with staff collecting non-perishable food items from noon to 4:00 pm. It is a great opportunity to support your community with Thanksgiving just around the corner.
Then on Tuesday night, the OPP will be hosting a Community Safety Awareness Presentation.
It is happening at the Thamesford Library from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. This free event is open to the public and the OPP encourage all members of the community to attend.
