Navy Vets register tenth straight loss, Tavistock takes a beating while Norwich and Thamesford pick up wins
The Woodstock Navy Vets have extended their losing streak to ten with a 4-1 loss to Paris. Paris scored 3 times in the 2nd period to open up a close game that had the Vets down only 1-0 after the 1st period. Brandon Velda scored for the Navy Vets with only 4 seconds left in the game to break the shutout . Michael Roefs was busy again in the Navy Vets net facing 54 shots. The Navy Vets play a home and home series with Burford next weekend when they host the Bulldogs on Friday Dec.06 at Southwood Arena @ 7:45 pm before travelling to Burford for a return match on Saturday Dec.07 @ 7:30 pm.
The Norwich Merchants added another one to the win column when they beat Burford 4-3. Jesse Szabo scored the game winning goal in the third. Wellesley heads to Norwich Friday for an 8pm puck drop.
Tavistock took a beating at the hands of Wellesley with a final score of 10-1. Mackenzie Kalbfleisch scored the Brave's only goal at 14:29 into the first period. Tavistock takes the ice next on Thursday in Ayr.
In Thamesford, the Trojans managed a 5-1 over Exeter. Their next game is Friday against Port Stanley.
