The London Knights will be on hand for a special cheque presentation to the local Salvation Army.
WOODSTOCK - The London Knights are bringing a couple of players to Woodstock.
They will be at the Home Depot on Tuesday, signing autographs. Director of Marketing & Game Day Operations for the Knights Matt Gergely says they will also be making a huge cheque presentation.
"We will bring some prizing and stuff to give away, the players will be signing autographs and taking pictures and the big event will be the cheque presentation to the local Salvation Army from the 50/50 draw we had at the London Knights game recently sponsored by Home Depot."
Gergely says they will also be spending time with some kids.
"We have a great partnership with the Home Depot and I think this is actually the first time we've kind of gone out of our London area because we normally do some visits for the kids workshop a couple times of year where we'll have a couple of our players help kids learn and build different things at different Home Depot locations. And I think this year is the first one we've kind of ventured out of the London stores and gone to the Woodstock locations, so I know we'll have a few of our guys out there signing autographs and helping kids with the workshop."
The Knights will be at the Home Depot in Woodstock from 5-6 p.m on Tuesday. The first 100 kids will receive a free mini stick signed by the London Knights.
They are going to wait until Tuesday to announce the donation to the Salvation Army, however it is fairly significant and the Salvation Army will be bringing their band as well.
