Woodstock Police say there is no threat to public safety after they responded to a report of a male with a weapon at Huron Park Secondary School earlier today.
WOODSTOCK - Huron Park Secondary School was put on lockdown for 45 minutes this afternoon, as Woodstock Police responded to a report of a male carrying a weapon.
Constable Nikki VanLeeuwen says they were called out to the school's parking lot just before noon.
"We located the person of interest, arrested that person, found the weapon and right now we are continuing our investigation."
VanLeeuwen adds there is no threat to public safety.
