Woodstock Police say there is no threat to student safety after CASS was put on lockdown for 50 minutes this afternoon.
WOODSTOCK - A Code Red was issued at College Ave Secondary School this afternoon.
Staff Sergeant Neil Butler says Woodstock Police were notified at around 12:45 p.m.
"They told us that two youths had possibly been seen in the school and they were not CASS students. That's the reason for the lockdown."
Butler says officers had to search the school as a result and they didn't find the reported trespassers.
"As soon as we realized there was no threat to student safety we lifted the lockdown as quickly as we could."
The Code Red was called off 50 minutes later at 1:35 p.m.
An investigation is ongoing.
