TILLSONBURG - Oxford OPP are investigating after 10 vehicles entries in Tillsonburg over the weekend.
A number of items were stolen during the break ins, including loose change, i.d, credit cards, tools, computers and accessories, keys, running shoes, sunglasses and medication. The OPP would like to remind the public to ensure your belongings and vehicles are secure. Remove articles of value from your vehicles to hinder any would be thieves from breaking into your vehicles.
The OPP is also asking residents to be vigilant in recognizing suspicious people or vehicles that may be sitting in neighbour’s driveways when they are not home or vehicles that are travelling aimlessly up and down roads. The public should try to get descriptions, licence plate numbers and direction of travel and report this immediately to their local police service. It is important for this information to get to police when the suspects may still be in the area.
