With all of the talk of watered down chemotherapy drugs lately it's nice to hear of a local looking to eliminate cancer all together. Ingersoll resident Mariette Bardoel held her annual Yard Sale for the Cure yesterday where all of the profits go to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and all of the items up for sale are donated by members of the community. Bardoel says the reason for the yard sale is simple. "To find a cure". Since the yard sales started, Bardoel says she has been able to donate nearly three thousand dollars to the foundation.
