100 percent of proceeds from sales of hot coffee and iced coffee will go towards Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.
WOODSTOCK - Local Tim Hortons in Oxford County are taking part in Camp Day today.
100 percent of proceeds from sales of hot coffee and iced coffee will go towards Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.
Over the past 10 years, Camp Day has raised over $212 million across Canada. This has helped over 300,000 kids go to summer camp.
President of Tim Hortons Foundation Camps Graham Oliver says it is amazing how much of a difference a cup of coffee can make.
"These inspiring young people from across the country, from all backgrounds, represent the future of Canada and it's incredible how the simple act of buying a coffee can make such a difference."
Tim Hortons Foundation camps have been around since 1974. Kids between the ages of 12-16 attend the camps every year. These are kids from low income homes, who wouldn't normally otherwise get to attend an overnight camp.
