Scott Harris of Waterford purchased the winning ticket in Brantford.
SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO - Residents of Woodstock, Scotland, Burford and Waterford were part of a group of co-workers that have won a Lotto Max second prize.
16 of them, with most residing in Brantford, won just under $100,000. The winning ticket was purchased at Euro Convenience on Charing Cross Street in Brantford.
Scott Harris from Waterford said the group have been playing Lotto Max together for six years.
"A few days prior to buying the ticket, some of the members of the group talked about not playing as a group anymore since we've had no luck. I checked the ticket using the OLG App and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I got Jeffrey [Oulton] to double check it, scanning it on his OLG App too."
