WOODSTOCK - A Free Family Event hosted by the Woodstock Environmental Committee will shine a light on consurism and what it is doing to our Oceans.
Chair of the Committee Chris Kennedy says they wanted to do something for World Water Day.
"Water health is a big issue right now, locally we are considering having a big dump come in so we want to protect water in any way we can and also waste reduction, we are just looking at ways where we can do small things individually where we can help out."
Kennedy says they will be showing the documentary "A Plastic Ocean", along with a presentation and things for the kids.
"Our event will show an presentation from some other entertaining folks that will also keep the kids entertained as well."
