There will be lots of holiday spirit in downtown Woodstock this Friday night during the annual lighting of the lights in Museum Square.
WOODSTOCK - Christmas season is in full swing in downtown Woodstock.
The unofficial kick-off to the festive season is this Friday night, with the traditional lighting of the lights at Museum Square.
This year, they are going bigger and brighter. This event is free for the whole family. They will have live music, playing all your favourite Christmas songs, candy canes for the kids of all ages and of course the moment when they flip the switch to lighten the square.
You can see the agenda below:
- 6:00pm: Scavenger Hunt at the Woodstock Museum
- 6:45pm: Sing-along with the WCI Voices High school choir
- 7:05pm: Official greeting
- 7:10pm: A cameo by a couple very special guests arriving with help from the Woodstock Fire Department
- 7:15pm: Lighting of Museum Square
- 7:20pm: Ingersoll Pipe Band
