Craig Drury and Ian McDonald will be the keynote speakers for the Canada's Outdoor Farm Show digital event on June 16th.
WOODSTOCK - Canada's Outdoor Farm show has announced the keynote speakers for the digital event coming up in June.
The speakers at the June 16th event are Soil Management Biochemist with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada Craig Drury and Crop Innovations Specialist with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Ian McDonald.
Drury will spend his time talking about nitrogen application options from application processes to nitrogen inhibitors and how these processes fit with 4R Nutrient Stewardship.
McDonald will focus on the latest research on the Canada's Outdoor Farm Show site, sharing what they found out about establishing cereal rye as a cover crop in soybeans.
Registered attendees will also hear from industry representatives from Bayer and Pride Seeds.
Executive Vice-President of Glacier Media Lynda Tityk says sharing information based on real-world conditions in the field is a tradition of Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show.
“In a challenging year when getting together in person is difficult, we're finding ways to offer key information from the field to help farmers make the most of their cropping efforts.”
The theme for the June 16th digital event is built around Getting on with Growing, Vigilance in Crop Care.
The speaker session is mobile friendly, so you can watch it in your tractor, truck or field. More details can be found online here.
