INGERSOLL - Get ready for a great show!
The Ingersoll Theatre of Performing Arts, also known as ITOPA, is getting ready for its upcoming production.
In the Rest Room at Rosenblooms is utilizing local talent and Carrie Watts describes what the show entails and gives us some sneak peeks.
"It's set in the early 1970's, it reveals the hopes, and dreams, and fears of three mature ladies who spark their lovely lives by meeting daily in the restroom lounge of an outdated department store. They concoct a scheme that creates chaos in the rest room at Rosenblooms."
Crystal Paul who will play the role of Myrah encourages anyone to audition regardless of experience.
"Everybody's welcome and it doesn't matter if you have experience or not. Our Director and Stage manager that's why they're there to really help you feel comfortable get into your role. With their encouragement we are able to get a lot of things done."
The performance is debuting on February 21st and they also have shows planned for February 22nd, 23rd, 27th, 28th, and March 1st and 2nd. Matinee performances start at 2:00 p.m. while evening performances start at 7:30 p.m. Shows performing on February 23rd, March 1st, and 2nd will be matinee, and others will be evening starts.
Tickets costs $26 for adults and $24 dollars for seniors. You can purchase tickets at the box office, or on the ITOPA website.
