The swearing in ceremony will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the ROM.
TORONTO - Premier Doug Ford will unveil his new cabinet today.
Lieutenant-Governor Edith Dumont will swear in Premier Ford and his executive council at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) at 2:00 p.m.
It's unclear if he will only make minor changes from his previous cabinet or shake things up with something completely new. We do know that Ford has been increasing the size of his cabinet since he was first elected in 2018 and he has gone on record saying he has no plans to trim it.
The premier has also stated that he plans on dealing with the tariff threats from the United States directly, so its unlikely that he will create a new ministerial portfolio for that.
Ford and the Progressive Conservative Party won a third consecutive majority government three weeks ago.
