What's the future direction for seniors services in Oxford County? The Steering Committee for the Oxford Master Aging Plan is hoping you can provide more answers. Steering Committee Chair Diana Handsaeme tells Heart-FM their committee has had already received 'some' positive feedback. "In November we had 55 service providers and organizations that provide care to seniors - we did a needs assessment and then on November 25th we did a full day forum in which we had many seniors from across the county attend and this was to review the information we had gathered and provide input for recommendations for the plan." The draft document is now available at local public libraries, and online. They've also established a survey for feedback. Handsaeme says she hopes all responses are received by February 15th.
