Ingersoll's very own Gavin Bryant will be suiting up for the Niagara IceDogs.
ST. CATHARINES - An OHL player from Ingersoll is moving from Owen Sound to St. Catharines.
Gavin Bryant will now suit up for the Niagara IceDogs, after he was traded along with a 2027 third-round pick in exchange for Declan Waddick yesterday.
Bryant is a 19-year-old forward and he spent two OHL seasons with the Owen Sound Attack, tallying 64 points in 93 regular season games. He also appeared in nine playoff games and he became an Assistant Captain for the Attack last season.
Interim GM Wes Consorti says he will be a great addition to the IceDogs roster.
"Niagara is pleased to welcome Gavin Bryant to the IceDogs family. Gavin brings a high level of maturity and leadership to our organization. He is a complete hockey player who will have a tremendous impact on our organization on and off the ice."
Bryant is a centreman and he stands at 6'0 and weighs 160 pounds. He was drafted 37th overall in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection by the Attack and he spent his minor hockey career with the Brantford 99ers.
TRADE: We have completed a trade with the Owen Sound Attack, acquiring forward Gavin Bryant.
