A 36 year old from Ingersoll was arrested after police recovered a stolen vehicle in Simcoe.
INGERSOLL - A 36 year old from Ingersoll was arrested after police recovered a stolen vehicle in Simcoe.
Officers noticed the stolen vehicle driving on Sydenham Street around 12:44 am on Monday. The vehicle had previously been reported stolen from the Hamilton area.
Kevin Mackenzie Wonch was arrested and charged with the following:
- Theft over $5,000 of a motor vehicle,
- Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs,
- Possession property obtained crime over $5,000,
- •Red light - fail to stop, and
- Drive motor vehicle - no licence.
