2017 was a good year for Ingersoll.

INGERSOLL - Celebrating the end of 2017 , Ingersoll reflects back on its festive year, achieving many things.

With major lead ways in road construction and the increase in building permits, it truly has been a successful year.

Mayor of Ingersoll, Ted Comiskey shares what he wishes to see in the New Year.

"I'd like to see a closure to the landfill. I'd like to see the ministry finally coming to there senses and the rest of the government to say that this is not a good site for a landfill, especially for Toronto and the Greater Toronto Areas, 18 million tonnes of waste."

Also to be seen in the upcoming year is three new subdivisions.

Comiskey, shares some insight to the planning pf the new Multi- Use Center hopefully coming soon.

"We've had some great community groups involved. We have now  set ourselves a target of what components we want in the Multi- use Center. And now were concentrating on looking for land and then after that we'll be concentrated on looking for the funding."

Comiskey hopes to continue working on infrastructures and making the most out of tax dollars.
