ICS Hit Radio: Familiar Hits That Span the Years will hit the Oxford Square stage in Ingersoll later this month.
INGERSOLL - The Ingersoll Choral Society is about to host its first themed event since the pandemic.
ICS Hit Radio: Familiar Hits That Span the Years will take over Oxford Square in Ingersoll, with shows scheduled for Friday, January 26th and Saturday, January 27th.
ICS Member Jan Vicars speaks to what people will experience.
"The audience is going to be a part of a live radio studio audience. We're going to have someone who is not a member of the choir going to be the MC, and we are doing music starting way back in the 20s and the war times all the way up to the decades in the 80s."
Vicars adds members of the public have three opportunities to see the show
"We're doing three performances. Friday, January 26th at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 27th at 1:00 p.m. matinee and a 7:00 p.m. show."
Tickets can be purchased from Long and McQuade in Woodstock, Patina's Gifts in Ingersoll, or by calling Betty Clifford at 519-485-0115 and Steve McInnis at 226-228-9253. The matinee is sold out, but tickets are still available for the evening shows at $40 each.
There will be finger foods included with the evening shows, and during all three shows there will be cash concessions and a wine bar. Each performance will also feature an impressive Silent Auction.
