Norfolk OPP were called out to a Yin Street address in Waterford Sunday night, after a four month old was accidentally locked in a vehicle.
WATERFORD - Norfolk OPP say a four month old baby is in good health after it was locked inside a vehicle in Waterford.
The child's parents contacted police just before 9 p.m. on Sunday. An investigation has determined the vehicle's doors automatically locked when the driver exited.
Officers arrived at the Yin Street address shortly afterwards. They broke the passenger side window at the request of the owner.
Constable Ed Sanchuk says the child is now safe and sound.
"The OPP were able to assist this family is safely removing their child from their locked vehicle. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident."
