Child services have been called after police responded to an indecent act by a 28 year old mother who was at the Turkey Point beach with her 9 year old child.
NORFOLK COUNTY - Child services have been called after police responding to an indecent act at the beach on Turkey Point.
Police were called after a 28 year old mother from Hamilton disrobed at the beach while in the presence of other people. The woman was apparently severly impaired by illegal drugs and alcohol. Officers also located her 9 year old daughter, that had been at the beach with her mother, who had been taken to the hospital.
As a result, the Children's Aid Society of Haldimand and Norfolk were contacted and arrangements were made to have a family member pick up the 9-year-old child.
The investigation is continuing.
