A woman from Zorra Township was charged with driving while high.
ZORRA TOWNSHIP - A 55 year old woman from Zorra Township has been charged with driving while impaired by a drug.
Police pulled over her Jeep Wrangler early Friday night on Queen St. W. in St. Marys. The officer noticed signs of impairment and the woman apparently failed a sobriety test.
She was taken to the Sebringville detachment and was evaluated by an officer who is a qualified Drug Recognition Expert. After the evaluation she was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs. The release from the OPP did not indicate what drug caused the impairment.
