OXFORD COUNTY - Transitions Equine is now a Signature Experience of Southwest Ontario.
The honour recognizes the immersive, and engaging tourism offered that meet the high standards for visitor experience. Transitions Equine is just outside Tavistock and offers unique wellness and learning experiences through horse-assisted activities. These programs focus on personal growth, leadership, and emotional well-being—not through riding, but through guided, objective-based interactions with horses.
Manager of Tourism in Oxford County, Meredith Maywood says how much this puts Oxford County on the map for tourism.
"Oxford County is proud to once again be recognized as a leader in experiential tourism, with seven of Ontario’s Southwest Signature Experiences now located in and around our communities. We’re thrilled to welcome Transitions Equine to this distinguished group and to see the continued success of our local tourism operators in creating meaningful, hands-on experiences for visitors."
