HICKSON - It is going to be a party in Hickson all weekend long with the Hickson Lions Daze happening at the Park.
The Lions Club has been putting on the event since the 1970's and it promises fun for the whole family. . Things get started on Friday night with Adult Lounge, Co-ed baseball and an auction sale. Secretary for the Hickson Lions Club Lawrence Clark tells Heart FM in past years they have raised $5,000 at the Lions Daze. "It goes to projects all over the world, we also make plenty of community donations and last year we donated some funds to the Sakura House in Woodstock."
The fun continues on Saturday starting with a McMuffin breakfast, more baseball, family fun and a dance. For a complete rundown of all the fun check out our events page at http://www.1047.ca/events/event/1483/
