It's been an afternoon of torrential rain and hail in Woodstock. The city is getting some reports of flooding in typical problem areas: Warwick and Cambridge Streets and Hughson and 6th Ave. City Engineer Harold DeHaan says Public Works is out trying to keep storm drains clear of obstructions, to keep the water flowing. That could be an ongoing issue, as radar indicates more rain and thunderstorms will keep moving through over the early evening before clearing up later on.
