Thamesford swimmer Michael Heath swam in the biggest race of his life this morning at the 2012 Paralympic Games. Heath competed in the 100m breaststroke, his strongest race in competitions. He finished with a time of 1:16:09, placing him 13th overall. The time unfortunately was not enough to advance him to the finals. Heath competed in the 200m freestyle and 100m backstroke, and despite not qualifying finished with personal bests in both races. Heath has concluded his competition at the 2012 Paralympics in London.
