Oxford Public Health are extending their heat alert for the rest of the week. With Environment Canada forecasting humidex values in the low 40s for the next several days , Public Health is extending the alert until Friday. Public Health issues a heat alert when there is a humidex of 40 or higher for three consecutive days. Local cooling stations are expected to stay open until further notice.
