Police pull over driver with passenger area full of empty beer cans
With all the attention paid to impaired driving and RIDE checks, an unbelievable discovery was made recently by provincial police.
They tweeted during a RIDE check over the weekend, a vehicle was stopped with literally the front passenger seat area full of empty beer cans, to the windows.
The 61-year old driver was stopped late afternoon in Grey Bruce County, near Owen Sound, and arrested for impaired driving, 8 driving related suspensions, property obtained by crime and several other traffic offences.
Police added they are sometimes asked why RIDE checks in the afternoon... this is why.
