Donations are needed for the upcoming Harrington Community Auction for the Harrington & Area Community Association and Knox Harrington Presbyterian Church.
Donations are needed for the Harrington Community Auction, coming up at the end of the Spring.
Proceeds from the auction will be shared between the Harrington & Area Community Association (HACA) and Knox Harrington Presbyterian Church.
Sharon Smith with the Church says they are looking for new or gently used donations.
"We like to promote local businesses too, we have had new things, gift baskets, gift cards, we want to promote our area, Harrington is a beautiful place to live, Embro is a beautiful place to live. Anything that people don't want to use anymore or want to promote or give us, we are more than grateful to receive."
They will be collecting donations at Harrington Hall Thursday April 28th between 4-7 pm and Saturday April 30th between 10 am to 1 pm.
Due to COVID concerns or lack of interest, some items will not be accepted, upholstered large furniture and books in general, with some exceptions for special items.
The auction will be done by 32 auctions and happen later this Spring.
