Local business owners in Oxford can expect a letter in the mail from MPP Ernie Hardeman.
OXFORD COUNTY - Local businesses can now put their two cents in, thanks to a business survey launched by Oxford MPP Ernie Hardeman.
Hardeman would like to hear some of the concerns entrepreneurs have, in order to bring them up in Queens Park.
"So we can proceed to do what we can to improve the business climate and make it more productive for our community."
Last year 88 percent of local workplaces reported feeling the impact of increased hydro prices. Hardeman is interested to see if that is still the case.
"If the government said that they have been working on trying to solve that impact, one would hope that it would be dramatically lower. I don't expect it to be but one would hope that was the case."
This year's survey will also ask local employers if and how they have been impacted by the changes to Bill 148.
Business men and women can expect the survey to arrive in the mail any day now. It is also available on Hardeman's website.
