Handbags for Hospice returns on Friday January 26th and tomorrow is the last day to purchase tickets for the fundraiser.
WOODSTOCK - VON Oxford is bringing back a very special fundraiser.
The 11th annual Handbags for Hospice will take place on Friday January 26th at the Oxford Auditorium in Woodstock.
There will be over 350 designer handbags up for grabs this year through the live and silent auctions. The event will also include prize raffles, a wine wall, food, and drinks.
All of the money raised will help support the VON Sakura House hospice. Handbags for Hospice has raised over $1,000,000 since 2011, and that money has helped purchase specialized palliative care equipment, patient room furniture, and helped maintain the Child Bereavement Program.
By celebrating the Power of the Purse, funding is raised to support the ongoing operations of VON Sakura Hospice House – a facility that provides palliative care at no cost.
The last Handbags for Hospice event was in 2020 and it raised over $165,000 alone.
Tickets for the event are on sale now and can be purchased online here or over the phone by calling 226-377-2056. All tickets have to be purchased before 11:59 p.m. tomorrow.
